Awesome product, fits perfect and with the optional straps the battery holds firm and sits way lower on the frame.

So i installed this low cg battery tray on an element trailwalker rtr that has wheels, tires, and a body, but is otherwise box stock. The low cg battery tray by itself took an obstacle that i had only finished one time ever and made it so that i could repeatedly, albeit with great difficulty, finish the line. Its a good product! I do want to figure a way to keep my weird little 2200mah 3s battery from sliding left to right though. I am using the rubberized bowhouse straps but with all the side hilling i do, and all the tumbles, the battery does eventually move to one side or the other even though i really sinch it down. So every once in awhile i reach up in there and center it again. Not too big a deal.

Great protect. Not only does it lower the center of gravity, it allows you to run a longer pack. We'll made and easy to install.

It's a great addition keeping the weight down low!!! Clean looks, keeps wires nice n neat underneath. I plan on grabbing the skid plate for the element ecto also. Awesome job guys thanks a bunch.

This was a fairly easy install, I recommend if you plan on doing the transmission skid to do them at the same time because you have to loosen the other to get the chassis to split enough to do the swap. I also had to loosen the front shock mounts to get a tiny bit more of space to get the old tray and skid out. Overall an easy and fun mod and I’m sure it’s going to help the CG of my Knightrunner.
